Hi Teresa,
Yes you can quite happily make a batch of this in advance and keep it in the freezer for a rainy day when you need a good feed.
Glad you like the recipe; it is one of my favourites.

I have used this recipe more times than I can count! When the children were small it was a great way to introduce them to fish. Last time I made this dish it was with uncoloured smoked haddock and cooked some carrots with the potatoes.

Hi Jane,
What a great idea to take the recipe on the road! Perhaps you could try out some of our other quick recipes and give your parents some more pointers on quick and easy dishes on the go!
Here are just a couple of suggestions to get you started:

Passed recipe on to parents which they love, and very easy to cook when in a small touring caravan and not much cooking space, also very tasty...!

Glad you and your husband liked it Petula! Thanks for pointing out that about the chives we've added it to the ingredients list. We like the sound of your additions too - would love to know what you think of our other fish dishes...

Yes quite liked this recipe but forget the chives as they were not listed within ingredients, luckily i had some parsley & used that instead. I also used smoked haddock, river cobbler & threw in some prawns instead of salmon etc which worked really well. My husband gave it the thumbs up!
