Hi Robyn,
We totally agree with you Robyn, in fact potatoes are naturally fat-free and 175g of boiled new potatoes, with their skins, provide 20% of your RDA for vitamin C, and also contain vitamin B6, potassium, iron, vitamin b1, folate and magnesium.
We're not nutrionists so you are best of discussing this with your doctor, but there are plenty recipes on our website to give you some ideas of potato recipes.

These "ways with potato" are so quick an easy even students can manage to cope with them. People need to be reminded of the benefits of potato not always their association with weight gain.
