250g Maris Piper potatoes, peeled and cubed
2 teaspoons rapeseed oil
1 onion, peeled and sliced
2 tablespoons ground garam masala, plus extra to serve

400g petits pois
1 bunch fresh coriander
1 small bunch of fresh mint leaves
8 slices of French bread
1 garlic clove, peeled and left whole
