4 medium/large fluffy potatoes, e.g Maris Piper or King Edward
1 tablespoon oil
2 x 400g baked beans in tomato sauce
90g grated hard cheese of your choice
Green salad leaves, to garnish (optional)
Simple yet so tasty, this classic combination of basil, tomato and chicken will bring your jacket to life.
This recipe is a one pot wonder – ideal to use up veggies you might have left over from the weekly shop, (mine are just a suggestion) but potatoes are key in this dish. Then simply add some chicken and a few spices.
This is a lovely alternative to making a classic fish pie and such a comforting dish to eat. Feel free to swap the fish to suit your preferences or in fact you could buy fish pie mix which many supermarkets sell at the fish counter. Served with some green vegetables, this is sure to become a family favourite.
